Medicine Buddha Retreat.png

The Medicine or Healing Buddha embodies the healing aspect of the mind and the practice is powerful for healing ourselves and others. It is particularly powerful during difficult times, especially for healing the heart and mind to help overcome negative patterns of thinking and develop the qualities of compassion and kindness.

There will be a focus on changing our understanding of the hurt we have experienced at the hands of others and bringing about a wiser approach to these experiences with the aim of healing ourselves and others.

There will also be an exploration of the harmful actions we have done to others and ourselves, and with cultivating a kinder approach to our understanding of these.

The retreat will include the meditation practice of Medicine Buddha teaching, discussion and question/answer.

Normally people think that Medicine Buddha is for healing but it’s not only that! You can use the Medicine Buddha practice for ANY purpose, ANY problem, ANYTHING. The Medicine Buddha practice is so precious.” - Lama Zopa Rinpoche
