Donations and Bequests

A meaningful way to support the work of Mahamudra Centre

Mahamudra Centre is a not-for-profit charitable trust committed to providing the opportunity for anyone to ​contact and benefit from the teachings of the Buddha. As a charitable organisation​, we are reliant upon the​ support of donations to keep things running. In order that our programs and activities ​at the Centre can continue to help people in the most effective and beneficial way possible, your support is very much needed and appreciated​, so please consider donating​.

​Donations to ​the Centre​ by individuals are tax deductible​ (submit your donation receipts to ​IRD to claim ​33.3% of the value of eligible donations over $5​)​

General Donation

This fund is extremely important for the daily running of the Centre. By donating to this item, you provide us with the flexibility to direct funds where they are most needed. You also share in all positivity created by the purpose of the Centre.

The Prayer Wheel House

This fund will be used for the building of the prayer wheel house, decoration of the prayer wheel house, mantras and texts to fill the prayer wheel, and the landscaping of the site.

Stupas, Statues and Holy Objects

An opportunity to contribute to the purchase, restoration, protection and beautification of the Stupa, Statues and other holy objects.

Dharma Sponsorship Fund

A fund committed to the continuation of the teachings by supporting the daily living and admin costs of our visiting teachers, translators and sangha. It also provides sponsorship.

New Roof for Main House Kitchen

The roof above the main house kitchen needs replacing. A kind-hearted benefactor has donated $5,000 of the estimated $15,000 needed. With your help, we can keep the heart of the house warm and dry.
