• Private Self-Contained Accommodation: Comfortable and dedicated retreat huts tailored for solitary practitioners, ensuring maximum privacy and an optimal balance of comfort and simplicity for a restful stay.

• Outdoor Kāyasthiti: Serene, expansive gardens and natural walking paths for practicing walking meditation or engaging in reflection on the kindness of the Guru and all sentient beings.

• Flexible Schedule for Accumulation: We welcome retreats spanning from a few days of purification to several weeks or months of intensive practice.

• Essential Support: Though meals are not provided (allowing you to perfectly maintain your personal dietary discipline), we offer practical support, local grocery sourcing, Wi-Fi, warm water, heating and other small logistical needs, so your focus remains solely on the Dharma.

• The Offering: This opportunity is presented as an act of pure dāna. Your physical presence and dedication to practice constitutes the greatest offering, and there is no charge for your accommodation.

• Groceries:

  • Our staff can shop locally at Four Square Coromandel on your behalf.

  • Alternatively, you may order online via Pak’nSave Thames click & collect, which can be delivered to Coromandel in collaboration with the Coromandel Taxi service.

• Transport: Airport pick-up from Auckland or Hamilton can be arranged on request.

• Laundry: Access to a communal washing machine and dryer is provided.

• Visa Information: Please check the New Zealand Immigration website for up-to-date visa requirements.

• Travel Arrangements: Private parking is available for those arriving by personal vehicle. For Sangha travelling from a distance, we can compassionately arrange airport pick-up services from Auckland or Hamilton.
