Donate to Mahamudra
Mahamudra Centre is a not-for-profit charitable trust committed to providing the opportunity for anyone to contact and benefit from the teachings of the Buddha. As a charitable organisation, we are reliant upon the support of donations to keep things running.
In order that our programs and activities at the Centre can continue to help people in the most effective and beneficial way possible, your support is very much needed and appreciated, so please consider donating.
“In giving we not only find wealth while in cyclic existence, but we achieve the zenith of prosperity in supreme enlightenment.”
– His Holiness the Dalai Lama

There are several types of bequests, each making a meaningful difference.
We invite you to download our suggested wording guide below, which you can share with your legal adviser.
The Practice of Generosity: Dāna Pāramitā
Generosity, or dāna, has a special place within Buddhist practice. It is an opportunity to cultivate an open and generous heart — giving freely, without expectation of something in return.
Through generosity we can loosen our attachment to what we possess and develop qualities of kindness, compassion and concern for others. Whether we offer our time, our resources or simply our care and attention, the spirit in which we give is as important as the gift itself.
