About the event

Mahāmudrā, often translated as “the Great Seal,” is a profound meditation tradition within Tibetan Buddhism that points directly to the nature of the mind itself. Rooted in the Gelug lineage and the teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa, Mahāmudrā unites deep stillness with penetrating insight, revealing the inseparability of clarity, bliss, and emptiness.

During this weekend retreat, Venerable Gendun will guide participants in exploring the mind through meditation

and reflection. The emphasis will be on cultivating inner calm and awareness, allowing space for a direct, experiential taste of Mahāmudrā practice within a supportive retreat environment.

This retreat offers an opportunity to step out of habitual busyness and reconnect with the simplicity and openness of awareness, supported by the natural surroundings of Mahamudra Centre.
