About the event

Step out of the busyness of everyday life and enter a space of quiet, clarity, and renewal. This 7-day silent retreat offers a rare opportunity to slow down, simplify, and reconnect—both with yourself and the present moment.

Drawing on Tibetan Buddhist practices, the retreat brings together two complementary approaches:

  • Shamatha — calming and stabilising the mind

  • Lojong — training the mind to respond to life with greater compassion and perspective

Together, these practices help you develop steady attention while learning how to work with thoughts and emotions in a more constructive way. Rather than avoiding challenges, you will explore how to meet them with awareness, patience, and kindness.

Held in silence, the retreat creates the conditions to rest deeply, gain insight, and experience a quieter, more spacious way of being—something that can support everyday life, regardless of your background or beliefs.
