About the event

The Twelve Links of Dependent Origination are one of the Buddha’s most essential teachings. They explain, in a clear and practical way, how suffering and dissatisfaction arise — and how they can gradually be brought to an end.

Rather than abstract philosophy, this teaching helps us understand our own everyday experience: how habits of mind form, how reactions repeat, and how awareness can gently interrupt these patterns.

During this special two-day teaching retreat, Geshe Sherab will guide participants through the Twelve Links step by step, using simple language and everyday examples that make this profound teaching accessible — even if you are completely new to Buddhism.

This is a particularly rare and precious opportunity to receive teachings from Geshe Sherab, as he has shared his intention to enter an extended private retreat beginning in 2027. Before stepping back from public teaching, Geshe-la is offering these teachings with the wish that students gain…
